MARKETING OBJECTIVES
There are some specific goals and objectives, which provide for future success (Luther, 2011). The primary objective involves focus on efforts to have market share and sales growth of each product that the company manufactures (Dornald, 2011). This brings brand preference and high share positions with many offerings. Like most companies, there is maximization of shareholder wealth. In addition, the objective to grow sales and market share allows the organizations flexibility, to be have the potential of responding to changes in the environment and the consumers’ needs and wants.
Another leading objective is increase consumer awareness by 12% in the next two years to yield better results. On increasing the consumer awareness, the objective, to increase consumer’s satisfaction is set. Customer satisfaction is expected to increase by 14% from 10% in next five years. All these are achievable by an increase in the number of policies sold to new customers and increase, in business premiums, by at least 15% per year from 10% in the next three years.
Increase in sale of new products, into the already existing markets by 12% per month in the next one year is also one of the leading objectives, as well. Consistent selling of products in the new markets has been in existence, and the company has it as an objective to increase the percentage by 15% per month in the next one year.
