Decision making is exhausting especially after we discover deficiencies ahead of the encroachment they may have on us or performance in our expertise. This is highly demonstrated when confronted by authoritative decisions requiring preciseness in a limited time frame. Owning a small scale beverage distribution company, business expansion was inevitable due to the cities expansion programs and the cut throat competition by larger companies. Despite present markets, I had to explicate a way to weather the economic ramp and still keep my business profitable. The gut instinct that I owned was to internally cut cost by trimming the number of employees, reduce the cost of production, and devise methods to improve efficiency. It was apparent that business expansion required informed decision making and expertise majorly focusing on current customer base.
The hardest ideology that recurred in my mind was the identification of an expansion type which was primarily motivated by the fact that not all business expansions will function for every business. Conclusively I dismissed all options that were not plausible or that I simply did not have money, time or desire to follow up.
