Self-disclosure entails is considered as any form of nonverbal or verbal communication explaining self. It may entail clothes, laughter, or any other communication facilitating self-disclosure. The Layers of Self Disclosure refers to the inner, middle, and superficial layers. While the middle layer is best to some extent only, the superficial layer is best for the initial date. Inner layers entail information such as fantasies, hopes, and spiritual values. It also includes secrets and deep fears. On the other hand, superficial layers are marked with shallow information such as feelings and attitudes in music and clothing. Social attitudes and political views are part of the inner layers. Shallow information is provided in the superficial layer because there lacks certainty that the person involved would turn to a life partner. In this regard, it is not justifiable to offer crucial information about life.
