Synopsis
Cinderella is living a high life with her parents which immediately stall when they get deceased. Her life gets entangled with cruel stepmother and scheming stepsisters, Clorinda and Tisbe. Ironically, she remains with a pure heart despite being bombarded with house chores (Pelhan 2013). The prince of the area throws a ball in an attempt to get himself a princess. The jolly stepsisters acknowledge the invitation and leave Cinderella at home to complete her chores. A disheartened Cinderella falls asleep at her fireplace. Unexpectedly, her fairy grandmother appears and helps transform the sleeping Cinderella into a beautiful princess. Cinderella is jubilant but weary of her stepsisters’ recognition at the ball but her gets magic slippers from the grandmother to make her unrecognizable on a condition she gets home by midnight, or she gets the spell broken. Meanwhile, ladies at the ball have selfish interests on prince’s wealth. The prince is disguised in his servant’s clothes. Driven by their egotistic interests, the sisters fight for the prince’s page and ridicule the actual prince. Upon Cinderella’s arrival, the prince immediately falls in love and dance with her. Soon, the clock ticks midnight sets for home, unfortunately, leaving one of her sleepers. The Prince sleeper takes the shoe to Cinderella while still disguised despite the objections from the sisters. They get married and in a beautiful kingdom, they live a happy life
Analysis of the Fairy Tale
The theme of the story in this setting is to warn people in the society who do not treat people fairy and in a just manner. It is aimed at condemning individuals who sabotage the dreams of others because of their conditions. This fairy tale has been chosen as a perfect suit of prevalent conditions the orphans in today’s world are subjected to. The unlucky ones are usually intimidated by the society.

With an unlimited budget, the casting of fairy story would employ renowned Televisa actors the likes of Alfonso Herera, to act as Prince and Sandra Echeverria to act as the helpless Cinderella. Others like Arambula, Maite Perroni, and Ana Brenda Contreras would be enlisted to work as the stepsisters.

The relationship between the stepsisters and Cinderella is cold though Cinderella is goodhearted. Cinderella’s purity of heart is also portrayed when she offers the beggar food.
The relation of step-sisters is strong as together they ridicule and forcefully overworks Cinderella.
Prince and the servant are more of a servant-leadership relation best described when they get disguised.
After their marriage, the princess and the prince live happily a reflection of a solid relationship constituted by love.

Cinderella- At first before her parents’ death, Cinderella will have a trendy outfit which will change upon their death. She will be in old fashioned attires since there is nobody to care for her. In the palace, Cinderella will be in expensive clothes perfected by gold coated jewellery and rings.
Stepsisters- Very trendy at all times.
Beggar-In dirty rugs
Prince- Stylishly dressed with gold plated ornaments.
Servant- Also stylishly dressed as his relationship with his leader is good.
