“The Tiger” by William Blake is arguably one of the most anthologized literary works in English literature. The poem is made up of critical questions about the nature of a supernatural creator and creation. It questions God’s existence and his ability to create such a terrifying animal (Mantyk, 2021). The poem narrows down to the question of why God allows evil in the world while marveling at the frightening nature of the tiger.
