Introduction
Uber Technologies Incorporation is a global American company noted in the services that offer mobility through ride-sharing and delivery of foods, and other goods through online purchases. This massive giant has furthermore, on a global scale developed a micro-motion structure of swift delivery that is structured on thousands upon thousands of scooters and bike personnel (Wallsten 2015). With a presence in almost 70 nations, (Wallsten 2015), the company boasts cosmopolitan and urban feel frontline offices. It is estimated that Uber has been able to amass globally, 110 million users, since its founding in 2009.
The domestic market of us is mostly responsible for a massive chunk of that market. It is also reported in financial reports that the US customer also plays a significant role in the company's profits (Wallsten, 2015). As a result, Uber commands a 67% share in the ride-sharing industry and 24% in the food delivery one. Such dominance is only one that its competitors can desire. At the turn of the second decade, in the 21st century, we have witnessed better economic growth figures just right after the global recession that hit the housing and financial markets in 2007.
An upsurge of startups has been noticed, and a substantial model has been in the sharing economy. The market has seen a rebirth of an industry that wasn't fathomed before, one full of complex facets and logistical structures. One of the most prominent methods of ride-sharing is carpooling, which is determined by one using another person's car and allowing incurring a slip-up on the accrued costs. But in the era of self-driving cars, we will focus on the technological modern ride-sharing platform that is designed to offer
