Over the course of transforming my life and professional undertakings, I have participated actively in all my roles. These activities are performed within and without the country targeting to change the community's face. Getting close to the project management strategies will greatly nourish an understanding of various challenges. The challenges in one way or the other possibly present the hurdle to be encountered by those who take responsibilities as managers in these fields. The accomplishment or failure of any project in whatever category be it economic, political or social arena, rest upon the abilities of those involved and not entirely only on the quality of the project goals and objective. The success of project management depends upon those serving in various capacities in steering the projected attainment (Collis, & Hussey, 2013, pg. 23).
In different regions, struggle to achieve successful management mostly face problems of fund misuse and corruption cases of the management team. The success and achievement of the project management demands all managers to be grounded on the comprehensive range of skills many of which must not be relevant to the type of the project on course. For example, a person intending to work on the water plant development project must not only be professional in the water processing activities or engineering but also possess management skills in areas such as operations, laborers and human resource systems and financial management among others. In various cases, many projects collapse because persons who lack these skills manage them (Collis, & Hussey, 2013, pg. 28).
My interactions in the past with different activities as a worker and voluntary personnel in various institutions prepared me in for the upcoming duty of project management and current efforts to deliver. Having enjoyed the challenges in the field of education, it still fits my plan to serve as a project manager and put more efforts in the field in my future career. I am steadfast to ripen my capacities, and consequently, I was highly motivated to pursue my master’s program in Project Management. I am convicted that it is imperative for all the aspiring project managers to remain equipped with these skills to allow ambitious projects to be completed on budget, according to their initial specifications, on time and stay focused that my completion of this master's program will improve my capability.
To help attain the best of my career goals of becoming a professional project manager, I have already made various steps in different studies that have heightened my project management skills through diverse learning and experience. I pursued an undergraduate course in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. During these times, I did research on project management. Acquired skills, which have facilitated my service delivery as a project manager, and I enjoy reading about the development of critical projects in the news and researching on the prerequisites of a successful project undertaken in diverse fields. After my university level of the bachelors' course, I worked for various firms in electrical appliance installations, and this enhanced my skills through attending various workshops and training related to my roles.
Currently, I am working on my exams and aim at conducting research on the causes of underperformance of various projects initiated by companies a case study of Ontario Electricity Company. Furthermore, I had observed different course offered like mechanical engineering, project management, community development and I was encouraged because they had a positive outcome to the community from the courses offered. I am excited about the dream of becoming a project manager in the national and international states and remain committed to delivering to the best of my abilities. I enjoyed completing my bachelor’s degree in the university. To this level, I believe that the knowledge that I obtained in it exhibit that I have the aptitude and the ambition to succeed at the higher levels. In addition to learning various challenges and efforts on successful project management skills, I have been working hard to advance my understanding of the contemporary issues by learning the English language .I dream of initiating various projects in the foreign developing nations.
Nothing counts on my professional history than the solid understanding of demand on the project management skills. It has been my desire to mentor young people in technical courses performance and social science skills; I am motivated to roll the grounds still and challenge the possible footraces in the project management role.
