The two terms Witchcraft and Prophecy are paradoxical in nature. The former is associated with spiritual powers of darkness otherwise known as evil forces while the latter is associated with heavenly and Godly powers.
Question 2
The people that are associated with the text include villains, pirates, witches & prophets.

One event relevant to the text can be the risen need in people to invest in supernatural powers. Man has always been under the belief that there is a supernatural being always watching over them. Sadly, however, the rate of crime being high, immorality and adultery has led to people believing in dark unseen forces.

The people represented are not connected and affected in any way by global forces

Power dynamics revolves around the ability to influence and control the behavior of people. The people represented in the text would likely be inclined to exercise authority. According to religion, prophets have always triumphed over dark forces as witchcraft. The underpinning theme is the fact that power is not seen but its effects are "tangible"
On the other hand, the topic has both terms related to unseen forces that are quite powerful that an ordinary man is seemingly powerless if faced with either.
