When I was a young boy, my dream was to become a police officer, just like my father. My father has always been my role model. I wanted to become a police officer to follow into his footsteps. However, as I grew up, I realized that a police officer did not earn as much money as I thought and I gradually lost my interest in that career. I eventually realized that my interest was in computer networking.
To be a Computer Specialist, I was required to be sharp in class. However, I hated school because I had to wake up early every morning. My Mother would wake me up every morning and encourage me to go to school. I remember I cried a lot on my first day in school. I was scared because I was not used to being in a group of strange people. Luckily, my elder brother who was ahead of me by three classes came in handy. He used to check on me every break time to make sure that I was fine. I eventually got used to school and made a lot of friends.
My uncle played a major role in mentoring me into computer networking. I admired his career as a computer specialist a lot. His PhD qualification in computer science enabled him to earn approximately $300,000 every year. This was the kind of money that I dreamt of earning in my life.
