Cause and Effect Pattern of Development in Writing
My return to school was facilitated by causes such as gaining new knowledge, acquiring technical skills to shape my future career, the urge to understand social life, the anxiety to meet and interact with new people and to enhance important educational skills such as writing, reading and communication skills. This decision has had the following short-term effects on my present life; I have gained new knowledge in my field of study that broadens my mind to handle a diversity of tasks. I have had a better understanding of the concepts entailed in both my area of specialization and other areas related to my course of study. The knowledge I have gained is part of the process of acquisition of technical skills that will shape my future career. Presently, I have also been able to get a better understanding of the circles of social life. Meeting and interacting with new people regularly has helped me to develop my social life through social communication. The school creates a platform for one to meet and interact with people of the same social status and this facilitates faster social life development. I have also been able to improve my educational skills over time and this was one of the most important causes of my return to school. My writing and reading skills have drastically improved with both my informal and formal communication skills advancing.
In regard to long-term effects, my decision will contribute to my future in the following ways; returning to school will help me choose a definite future career depending on my area of interest. It will also help me grow and enhance my talent by gaining the knowledge to undertake whatever I like doing. My social and communication skills will definitely continue to grow both informal and formal. I will also be able to develop a diversity of connections through the friends I have interacted with in school.
