Introduction
Road accident is the most unwanted thing to happen to a road user, though they happen quite often. The most unfortunate thing is that we humans never learn from our mistakes. Along the way, rules and regulations were formulated to ensure there is order on the roads. Nevertheless, we have laxity of these rules by the road users hence more accidents tend to happen. There are major and minor causes of road accidents. There are a lot of factors contributing to road accidents e.g., the lack of skill, to mention but a few.
Drunk driving is among the factors contributing to road accidents in the world. Now and again people are warned against drinking and driving because it all leads to an accident. Once a road user is alcohol-intoxicated, he or she experiences dizziness, the reaction to the human body is lowered, the user experiences a lack of concentration, and all this at many times proves fatal. Alcohol also dampens fear and incites humans to take a risk. We can find various studies which prove that drunk driving is a major factor in road accidents that result in deaths of people, or several injures.
