Cultural Identities
I am a 22-year-old, and I belong to the Zhuang tribe in china. Before traveling to America, I lived with my parents, who are both teachers. I have been brought up in a family whose system of belief is Taoism, and my interest from a very young age has been teaching others. I think being brought up by parents who are teachers influenced my interest in teaching. Taoism and my interests are the identities that are most salient to me.
Our culture originated from the Huaxia tribe based on what I have learned since I was young. My family has identified culturally through engaging in traditional activities such as Qingming ceremonies. Fasting, prayer, and singing in our ancient language are other ways my family has identified culturally. They have communicated this to me through activities related to the identified cultural aspects. 
My travel to America as a Chinese international student has made me discover the cultural differences between Chines and Americans. I noticed that most of the cultures in America are a combination of cultural values from the Western origin. There is a combination of various cultures in our country due to immigration from most parts of the world. 
There is variation in cultural activities in different communities and countries (Matsumoto and Juang, 2016, 152). Migration of people into an out of a given country influence cultural identities. For example, my stay in America is likely to affect my cu
