KENYA FOR INSTANCE HAS 42 ETHNIC LANGUAGES BUT THE EDUCATION SYSTEM,OFFICIAL GATHERINGS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICES ACKNOWLEDGES ENGLISH.
IN CAMEROON,CREOLE ENGLISH IS SPOKEN ALL OVER THE COUNTRY BUT HAS NEVER BEEN RECOGNIZED AS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE DESPITE HAVING A DEEP RESONANCE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE CAMEROONIANS.
THIS EXPLAINS WHY CURRENTLY THE INCOMING GENERATION IS LOSING MASTERY OF THE LOCAL DIALECTS IN AFRICA AT THE EXPENSE OF ENGLISH.
