Dyslexia Description Summary
According to the above discussion, Dyslexia is confirmed to be a form of disability associated with the difficulties in the processing language as well as visual processing (Healthofchildren.com, 2017). According to the research, it is again proofed that Dyslexia can affect anybody irrespective of one’s geographical location, age or social status. However, it is also illustrated that this disability has genetic and neurological traits though one’s native language has even been mentioned as a factor too. Dyslexia affects mostly children at the tender age but also acquired Dyslexia in adults is possible through factors including traumatic brain injury, dementia, or stroke/ paralysis. In this regard, no connection has been associated with poor upbringing, teaching or instructions. The affected exhibit a tendency of sluggishness both in their studies and physical activities. Thus, students with Dyslexia are likely to have low grades due to their slow learning abilities and even forgetfulness as compared to those in the same age bracket that is normal.
Hence, both parents and teachers are advised to be careful, and those parents whose children are affected should show care and encourage them that despite their challenge, they can still make it as many successful people suffer from Dyslexia yet have made it out of hard work.
