Like most other boys, toys fascinated me immensely as a young boy. I spent most of my childhood years dismantling my toys trying to understand what made them move or sound as they did. As trivial as it may sound, this childhood fascination formed the basis of my interest in technology. Sciences became my favorite subjects in high school, and Information Technology was my major in college.
The persuasion to undertake an Information Technology course in university was not only influenced by my childhood dreams but was also a result of the realization that technology could solve various problems in my community. After graduating from college, I engaged in various voluntary services in local health centers, from where I realized that all of them relied on outdated and manual medical records and retrieval methods and that they needed assistance. At this point, I realized that not only was my childhood dream validated, but my career path was also going to take a whole new turn altogether.
