Introduction
The internet technology is the fastest growing area in the technical infrastructure development. The technological aspects of the internet such as social computing, cloud computing, and the mobile computing have a significant impact on how individuals and organizations make use of information technology. The scope of Cyber laws and security extends to the digital networks including the cyberspace and critical infrastructure. The cyber laws are constructed to deal with critical cyber security issues such as data theft and privacy issues. The Internet has, therefore, led to the development of a growing field of legislation in which the lawmakers seek to describe certain aspects of observation with respect to the internet use and behavior (Barnard-Wills & Ashenden, 2012). For this reason, there have been emerging trends in or legal issues involving cyber laws. These trends include among others, e-contracts and e-signatures, cyber torts and identity theft.
