1 Compare the differences between an academic paper and one newspaper article, answer the four questions in 500 words:
* How they are structured; an essay section is organised in a way that is convincing and makes sense at the same time. * What is the core argument? The core argument in the essay article is in the thesis statement which not only states the case but also gives the indication of the organisation of the essay. Other reasons they are found on the body of the article which is backed up with support evidence. The core argument of a newspaper article is the headline of the article, and other arguments are found in the explanation paragraphs.
* How does the writer use evidence to back up his or her ideas? The author uses evidence to persuade readers.
