In order to reap optimally for the advertising media used, organizations should ensure that they leverage marketing to programs meant for children's viewership. The content of the advertisement should also focus on the particular age that is being targeted. Besides, the message conveyed should be self-explanatory. For instance, excessive use of colorful ads would get the children to ask for the products. The paper describes the advertisement, construction, and the organization of kids items in Wal-Mart stores. The products should be placed in conspicuous areas visited by the kids. Moreover, bright colors, as well as unusual designs, are used to catch the attention of the kids. Although kids should have a diversity of toys and garments to help in the development of their imaginative play life, the selection of those products should be carefully made. Their clothes and toys in Wal-Mart are presented in a way that is attractive to the kids. Different colors are used to distinguish the girl's clothes and toys from those of boys. For instance, the pink and purple colors are used for girls. On the other hand, the blue and other dark colors are used for boy's garments and toys. The words written on the clothes and toys also depict the gender of the kid. Pretty words on the garments help to develop a confident attitude in girls. Messaging on the boy's clothes indicates the idea of independent and self-centered. Such messages encourage them to be rebellious and active. The clothing material also determines the type of gender. The girls' outfit section comprises of glitter fabric depicting the idea that their clothing should be pretty. Besides, their garments have fluffy materials on the outside, which communicates how outsiders will interact with them. The use of color, words, and images are considered one of the best ways of marketing gender. The colors used in the advertising helps in persuading the kids to buy the products. The pink dolls are attractive to the little girls, while the boys will be interested in toys such as the guns, trucks in hard colors such as green, blue, black, and red (Bahsous, 2019). Marketing gender using the colors helps sell the products of the firm through positioning and image creation. From the article, gender is marketed through the outfits of the two kids. Just like her toy store, the girl is dressed in bright colors such as pink (Bahsous, 2019). On the other hand, the boy's clothes, as well as his toy store, are decorated in blue. The purchasing of clothes depends on the message they portray. The color will determine if a garment is attractive or not. The girls choose the colors which they perceive to be seductive (Kodzoman, 2019). Moreover, wearing a certain color influences the perception of a child. Children tend to believe in success when they wear red garments. The images on the clothes define the interests of the child wearing it. Boys garments contain images for planes, cars, and rockets, among others. On the other hand, household related products are reserved for the girls. Their skirts and dresses are short, whereas the pants are tight (Agustoni, 2018). Such ideas instill the importance of being attractive by dressing accordingly. Product packaging determines whether to purchase a toy or not. The color of a toy can persuade a kid that the product is better or different from another.
