PART 1
Gender Identity and Feminism
As the society grows into complexity with time, so are the discussions surrounding the multifaceted topic on gender identity and feminism. Conventionally, it has been argued that gender identity is intrinsically motivated. To the contrary, several inferences have been made in an effort to evaluate every possibility of gender identity being influenced by external factors such as social structures, interactions and cultural expectations. Feminism, on the other hand, is one of the hotly contested topics of discussions in this contemporary society. In an effort to erase the old notion of male chauvinism, women have risen across the globe and put on a tough stance against the vice with the aim of achieving existentialism and the need of equality.

Cisgender individuals maintain the reproductive organs acquired at birth throughout adulthood, according to the societal expectations. Cisgender activism was developed in the 1990s to fight against any attempt to divert from the natural sex orientation. The rise of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) activism has over the time intensified debates surrounding gender identity. Perhaps unbeknown to them is the notable privileges the cisgender enjoy over them.
Assume you are up for an interview and is asked to indicate whether you are a male or a female. The panelists may turn you down due to professional mistrust, which to a wider perspective makes sense. Someone who undergoes a genital reconstruction surgery to alter their genetic makeup may as well shift loyalty at the workplace. To some transgender individuals like Katie Couric, they have devised a way of evading the gender-related questions by terming them dehumanizing, and unacceptable. Sharing public institutions like gymnasia may be an unbearable ordeal to transgender individuals, especially in the changing rooms. They are deprived of freedom and overlooked by gender sensitive individuals, and sometimes curtailed from participating in public functions. The cisgender,
