Completing the project learning program has provided me with a broad set of knowledge and skills comprising critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and effective communication, all of which will facilitate better management of my career. The accomplishment of the nursing program has provided me with a milestone of a better understanding of the research project, the various theoretical framework guiding the nursing profession, and the first-hand experience obtained from the workplace environment, which has shaped the role of being independent in decision-making and being accountable for direct and indirect work responsibilities (Mthimunye & Daniels, 2020). In the complex work environment, I have learned the need to work with the rest of the interprofessional team in the execution of work. Completing the learning program has enabled me to develop diverse knowledge and skills that will guide my career in the workplace environment.
After completing the learning program, I prioritize volunteering at the community health facility as I search for employment opportunities. The rendering of services in the local community health facilities is one way of giving back to society while obtaining first-hand information on the various health disproportions affecting the population. I will understand the challenges and bureaucracies existing in healthcare, forming the basis for liaising with the management and staff to combat the obstacles hence increasing efficiency (Price & Reichert, 2017). I anticipate that within the next six months, I will have formal employment from which I will impact people's lives, provide nursing services during my free time to rural and underserved areas, obtain professional certifications, and take a management position.
