I have always been fascinated by the way we use our brains to communicate with each other, so it's no surprise that I am drawn to the field of Neurogenic Communication Disorders. My interest in speech-language pathology developed when I was a child while sitting in my kindergarten classroom watching my teacher struggle through her day due to a stroke she had suffered several months before.
