A doctor is an essential person in society; this profession commands respect for saving peoples' lives. Some doctors find themselves on the wrong side of the law when they get sued by the patients ("Most Famous Medical Malpractice Cases | Notable Malpractice Lawsuits," 2021). The lawsuits do not unfairly target the doctors because they have to make the proper diagnosis and provide the correct medication to the patient they are treating.
Reaching the correct diagnosis is crucial to the patient, and when the doctor takes much time or comes to a wrong diagnosis, this is a risk factor for the patient. The doctor's responsibility is to make sure that they carefully assess the patient and take the relevant tests to come to a diagnosis as fast as possible before any health damage ("Most Famous Medical Malpractice Cases | Notable Malpractice Lawsuits," 2021).
Every doctor has their way of working, but some don't take their profession with integrity and put the patient's life at risk. A wrong medication is a hazard to a patient because this can cause the patient or destroy organs.
