Love is a set of emotions, beliefs, and behavior that is accompanied by strong feelings of warmth, affection, protectiveness, and respect to one another. Paul the Apostles wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 13 of the New Testament in the bible what God’s love entails. Paul uses the word Agape to refer to divine love. This essay is going to look at detail God's love and how it affects the relationship that exists between one person and those who he interacts with. Also, it is going to discuss on what is love and what is not love.
The perception of God being love by an individual can affect their relationship with others positively in several ways. This is because what they are going to say and do to others will portray the will of God. Just the way Paul narrated of the extraordinary things that one can do that ends up becoming nothing if there is no love. For instance, the case where one has the gift of a prophecy such that he comprehends all the mysteries and knowledge or even has faith that can move mountains, without love they are nothing. He also asserts that even if one gives out their riches to the poor they become nothing if they are not given out of love. Therefore, God’s love affects the relationship among people positively in the following ways. It makes them give their surplus to the poor out of a poor heart. It makes them love all people without discriminating them based on their class, race or even status in society. It also makes them care for one another
