Negotiations reflections
Negotiation is an important method of dealing with trade disagreements between employers and their employees. Negotiations is a tool that ensures after a thorough discussions and meetings between the involved parties, a comprehensive and fair agreement is achieved. Basically, the main objective of this agreement is to make sure that the agreement reached is satisfactory to all the parties involved so as to avoid trade disputes between the these parties. According to the mayor, there is no contract that will be achieved from the negotiations unless there is an adjustment in the health insurance contributions of the employees which simply means an increase in the percentage of employee’s contributions towards the city’s health insurance program. Results of the outcomes of the negotiations indicate that group 1 and 2 performed well in this issue of health insurance, this is because they were able to advocate for a lesser portion of contribution towards the health insurance which summed up to 23% and 25% respect...
