Abstract
Checking online sites whether for shopping, academics or healthcare services has become a normal routine nowadays. Healthcare services are among the recent online bidding for the 21st century. But is bidding healthcare online the best solution to modernized healthcare services? This essay has found out that it is efficient to have online healthcare services but the quality of the services is questionable as there are quacks that take advantage to con innocent online patients.
Online Healthcare Services by Physicians
Taking online healthcare business to the maturity stage where physicians can offer their services to patients online. Doctors nowadays are after money and therefore, care little on the quality of the services they endow to their customers. The jumbo question is whether this medical procedure is ethical (Caplan, 2014).
Online doctors claim to offer quality services but in reality they are just after money. How can online services for skin complexion be replaced or changed online? How can meager boobs and hips be enlarged or replaced online? The physician’s answer to this is “I can offer that service at a cheaper price than my competitor”. That is the quality that they prefer and believes in.
Patients are being lured by the splendid reputation of the hospital without considering what kind of services they offer and what sort of people are promoting that particular hospital. Most quacks have employed various promotion individuals to promote their services online to take advantage of the slothful patients who find little time to physically visit hospital for check-ups. They end up being given fake services which thereafter bring cancer.
I absolutely do not concur with online healthcare services as a way of administering quality services and instead believes it is a way of conning the slothful patients.
