Reading and writing is a complex developmental challenge well known to be intertwined with other development accomplishments among children who get exposure in school for the first time. They include memory, language, and motivation. First time experience in school is a feeling that everyone in the profession has encountered though it provides not only a cognitive, psycholinguistic activity but also a social activity.
I was my first time in school, at a tender age in lower primary, the school looked wearied for me. I was shunted into an accelerated reading program which was part of school curriculum. In the context of this program, they decided that I should be given special privileges to join the first public library located on the west side of the school compound. In the library, I grabbed first some three books that I could reach, all by an author I hadn’t ever heard of. The section I had stumbled into was Science book full of drawing of moving objects titled ‘friction.' Though I never had a clear knowledge of how to write, I perhaps remember telling the story based on pictures had seen in the book. I loved reading through pictures and cartoons, and this simple act of selection become my favorite method of reading on a daily basis.
At the age of seven, I was naïve to the future on how to write. My English teacher started by encouraging as to know how to spell and master letters before we start writing, I questioned the teacher how best I learn all letters and equally spell them to generate a sentence.
Little did I knew I was inviting assignments, which to his side he referred them as homework. Biggest influence writing would be seen easily from the look of face experience of the Great Depression as a result of the assignment.
I was confronted with a quite a dilemma, wondering if I could perhaps possess any tip of any writing together with reading in my younger age compared to recent age. I could not imagine myself doing anything but reading and writing. However, writing weak sentences full of grammatical errors. Perhaps, seeing myself doing great work of writing and reading about people and what I saw give me hope that no matter what progress in life it is supposed to be necessary. With pretty of publishers out in stake, I can make writing a career rather reading; I can experience life by socializing with friends as well as interacting with people in a right way.
