Introduction
Adolescence is referred to the age between the puberty onset and the start of adulthood. Children are experiencing cognitive, physical, and emotional development during their adolescence transformation from childhood to maturity (Santrock 16). In particular, with the complete functionality of reproductive organs, young people’s personalities are also exposed to considerable development. Considering my personal identity, my character tends to be stable as most of my life, despite more advanced reasoning patterns and a stronger self-sense developed, I remain a charismatic person with optimistic views.
Discussion
Adolescents tend to develop significant attachments with other individuals apart from their close family members. At this time, youngsters may feel stressful, especially in the western society, since new emotions, independence, and a responsibility sense appear to create novel social associations. Independent thinking and moral development are needed at this life stage. Furthermore, children must know about their ethical values through active reasoning and thinking, thereby forming an objective image of the surrounding world.
Overall, adolescence is the puberty period presupposing changes in physiology and psychology. Because of hormones, rapid physical changes occur in a young person (Santrock 33). During this period of early adulthood, the cerebral cortex of the brain permanently improves its functions, resulting in the more effective reasoning, analytics, critics, and emotional control. Further, a defining adolescence facet is the establishment of persistent self-identity among teenagers. Though the majority of youngsters become successful in developing a steady identity, the process is usually durable and tensed.
Sanguine Personality Type
From my personal perspective, the sanguine personality type describes my temperament most vividly. As a sanguine personality person, I have always been optimistic about life and expressed a carefree attitude to many matters. Moreover, I love adventures and posses an increased risk tolerance level. Because of my inability to keep up with the environment that exudes boredom, I prefer to search entertainment whenever possible. Notably, many people who surround me describe my character as reactive as I tend to respond to any outer influence almost immediately. That is why I do not go deeper into the essence of things but always contented with the superficial understanding. The sanguine personality's features fully represent my life views and relations to others.
I cannot say that my temperament has significantly changed for the last years, but some negative impact of it took place. I have also struggled with constant addictions due to my susceptibility to pleasure-seeking tende
