Sweden adolescent sexuality is quite now an open topic in the country that is home to over 80 million citizens. Sex health has been integrated in the Swedish society and communities where teenage girls and boys are taught about living a healthy reproductive life. The sex education was introduced in early 50s throughout the whole education system where students are taught about sexual related illnesses, early births and abortions and how to prevent all these, Edgardh (2001). The Swedish government did all these by targeting the school and family systems. This was to reduce about the rates of abortions and drop outs that had intensified the 1990s in country. The research shows about the number of teens in Sweden, their family lives, school lives and social lives and how it has been affected or has affected their sexual lives.
Over 65% of adolescents attending schools live with their parents while the rest live under different basis such as immigrant students. In schools, the sex knowledge has been put into the school syllabus throughout the nine years primary education and then extended to the high school curriculum. Latest research showed that girls entered into sexual relationship earlier than their counterpart boys. In a class of 16 year olds, it showed that over 45% girls had experienced intimacy while only fewer than 35% of boys claimed so, thus showing that girls are the earliest to engage in sexual relationship compared to males under the same age. Due to these special programs targeting both boys and girls was started to teach about HIV Aids, abortions and pregnancies was introduced while at the same time educating the teenagers on the importance of having protected sexual relationships with their partners.
Alcohol and use of drugs was attributed to over 1 out of 3 reasons why these students and teenagers found themselves in sexual encounters. The most shocking statistics was the number of partners each sexual active teenage claimed to have thus making 5% of boys and 10 % of girls to show symptoms of STDs. Abortion is legal after it is approved by the Swedish health board but the instances of abortion has significantly and drastically dropped by the introduction of contraceptive that are aimed to be given to the young girls to prevent unwanted pregnancies, Cherry & Dillon (2014) . Case reporting cases recorded showed that the cases of serious STD infections such as HIV and Gonorrhea are typically lower than the cases of other normal sexual infections.
The USA health sector showed a significant drop in number of teen pregnancies and birth in the recent years. Among the ages below the age of 18 to 15 showed that only about 37 to 39 girls among 1000 had these early teen births. As much as it seems as a development it is still very behind compared to other developed countries such as Sweden. Sweden records only about 7 girls among a thousand cases that have been reported as cases of early teen births.
