Teachers are a very important element in the society; therefore, they should have a dress code for the society to identify them since they do perform a very noble job and duty worldwide. To be in uniform, it will enable the society to recognize and identify them according to what they are doing and undertaking in the society on this planet – earth. Now, the following are advantages and disadvantages of the teachers to wear uniforms or have a dress code on the school compound while executing their work.
To begin with, teachers should have to wear uniforms or have address code while on duty because a dress brings uniformity on staff. It creates and brings the idea of togetherness, consultation, presenting of ideas and walking around the school compound without any worry and fear of being sidelined by anybody at that time.
In addition, all the teachers will be seen as one: Any teacher on the school compound will be accorded the same respect regardless of his or her color, race and gender in the school. Teachers will feel very comfortable without any fear while executing their duties either inside and or outside of class. Due to that oneness, the teacher duty will be very effective and he or she will do or carry the obligation as required.
Furthermore, the idea of teachers having uniforms while performing their duty shows solidarity on their duty. Also, we shall see it in their teacher's union, in the teacher organization and in teaching fraternity as a whole. Teachers will be having one stand in any decision they have to make as from the lowest to the highest level in the teaching fraternity.
However, teachers to have a dress code while executing their duties it may bring some discomfort among teachers. Among such discomfort, one can that teachers feel okay to just use one attire for the whole of his or her working hours, in particular, the female teacher. As we all know female sexes are font an of changing their attire or cloths (Blauwkamp, 2017). Even every minute when they may feel like or even when the nature of their body demands we all adhere.
Also in teaching section, just to have one dressing code the teachers will fell feel insecure. In the sense that a teacher will be easily identified for any good or bad reason or for anything that he or she might do.
