The Medicare for all Health Reform (Essay Sample)

Instructions:

According to studies, cognitive development is attributed to bilingualism and multilingualism, achieved through learning foreign languages. Exposing children to foreign languages earlier offers greater creativity and problem-solving skills. There are several advantages to why children should learn foreign languages, including increased brain functionality, better problem-solving and cognitive abilities, better pronunciation and also helps children interact with other cultures easily.
Learning a foreign language at an early age makes children sharp. The research was conducted for bilingual children and those with no identified cognitive abilities in the respective children. It is easier for children who possess bilingual and multilingual knowledge to learn things faster than those who speak one language. Monolingual children are often characterized by a slow learning process and understanding various concepts.
The ability to solve problems and other cognitive skills is crucial in communication. One language system becomes a barrier to many children since it does not help them with problem-solving tactics or identify an approach to solving the problem. More than two language system makes it easy to solve the problem.
Understanding foreign languages have also helped children connect with other people speaking the language in other countries. This is an important factor when dealing with international relation-related courses later in future. The earlier the child connects with a foreign language, the better. Understanding the language will also incorporate different norms and cultures of the foreign language. Therefore, the experience helps them be more open to different approaches to life events practiced by other cultures. It becomes easy to live together with other people if there is connectedness through the language.
Thus, learning a second language among children is not just for knowledge purposes but a way to interact with the rest of the world. It opens the door for more learning opportunities and general globalization.
