The theme of the video is staying relevant and digital in today’s virtual teams. In the video, I have learnt how different people faced difficulties during the covid period trying to transition to the virtual working environment. Below are some of the insights I observed and felt like they needed to be argued more in-depth; * Giving a problem but not a solution Even though Jen Lim, the guest speaker, gives examples of people who have had challenges during their work-at-home experience, there is always a solution for each, and she has not mentioned this in the video. For example, Jane lacks data. Jane is working, and she is paid so she can use the money she is paid to purchase data or bundles and stay connected with the rest of her workmates. I'm afraid I, therefore, have to disagree with how she argues. It would be better if she said that Jane stayed in an area where she could not access electricity. This way, it becomes hard for her to work. * Irrelevant examples Also, here comes Noel, who is old. The speaker argues that Noel may ask his kids to help him with work. How can the kids help him with work when they have not specialised in his field of work? I would recommend the guest speaker give a more relevant example; for example, Noel’s computer fails, and he does not have money to fix it. Because instead of his kids helping him with work, they can help him log into work using his computer and avoid the young ...
