History of Visual Development
Visual development is dated back to the 19th century when the technology of moving pictures was invented. In the 20th century, motion pictures partly exhibited as fairground novelty, but later on, they developed into crucial communication and entertainment. Examples of significant developments in motion picture techniques include color motion picture, synchronized motion picture sound, and digital film.
Visual development is 120-year old. Within this period, the world has witnessed several changes such as a shift from rice paper and slash methods of the 1900s to the advent of complicated software systems that facilitated motion capture marvels viewed in theaters today. The first countries that assisted these turning points in visual development include companies that were based in Britain, the U.S., and France. One of these companies is the American Mutoscope company. The company was created to utilize peep-show type films by W.K L. Dickson (Michelson 97). Dickson's equipment measured 70mm wide, and each frame was printed differently on paper sheets.
