Fashion transcends across a variety of areas such as the style of dressing, hair, and manners among others. While not everybody embraces every popular trend, it is impossible to ignore the topic of how relevant and useful fashion is for individuals as well as societies. Although some people think it is not valuable since it changes so fast, new trends encourage innovative thinking, and it improves peoples' lives through a wide variety of things from which to choose.
Fashion is about designing new clothes, hair styles, and behaviors in a bid to outdo the available ones in society at a given period. In this process, creators devise new attributes that they think will appeal to users more than the current ones (Sinha, 2002). In the cases where communities embrace such changes, the products alter some features of religion, culture, and society. In the end, fashion encourages people to think in ways that benefit them, thereby reducing boredom emanating from uniformity in their lives.
On the other hand, fashion is more beneficial to the users than the initiators since it provides them with alternatives. Often, new trends may affect different areas of life, such as hair, walking, language, and clothes. In this case, people may want to match one of these aspects to another. For example, a new hairstyle may work well with a particular clothing style. While such a scenario favors one person, it may not necessarily work for the other. To this end, the availability of different fashions affords people a variety to match their desires.
