China has an area of about 9.6 million km2, is the third biggest nation on the globe next to Russia and Canada. China has the largest population in the world, estimated to be 1.3 Billion. It is counted amongst the oldest civilizations that undertook inventions of printing, gunpowder, papermaking and compass. China has come out to be one of the leading civilizations for hundreds of years, overtaking many countries in the world in sciences and arts. During the 19th and 20th centuries, China was attacked by famines, civil wars, foreign occupation, and military defeats. The Communists created a totalitarian power after the Second War II (Gilley, 2004). This system of government resulted in the deaths of millions of Chinese people. The communists shifted their attention to the marketplace after 1978. Consequently, the standards of living got better, which paved way for personal freedom. On the other hand, China still is a dictatorial nation. This paper examines how life will be like in China in the year 2100 given various variables as discussed.First of all, the population of China is projected to keep on expanding, a factor that will be to the economic advantage (Cnn.com). They are passionate and well educated about entrepreneurship. They are keen to work and concentrate on values and ethics. The young Chinese people exhibit open-mindedness to the world, a factor that has helped them to be welcome wherever they go. This principle of openness is one of the most vital resources of the Chinese (Cnn.com).China holds one-fifth of the globe's populace, but just about seven percent of the world’s arable area. Only about 33 % is considered to be good out of all the land that is suitable for growing crops. A significant proportion of arable area is decreasing due to the needs of the rapidly expanding population and soil erosion. The farms are equally facing the risks from agricultural and industrial pollution. According to (United States, 1997), China's water intake already is at par with that of United States of America (USA) and keeps on rising. Its energy intake is second only to the USA. China is the second biggest discharger of Industrial carbon dioxide (CO2) pollution. Given all these factors, some experts believe that China is most likely to become more reliant on imported food, a situation that is bound to be worse in the year 2100. The scenario could change, based on upcoming technical developments and set up government environmental and conservation policies (United States, 1997).In China, are more than one hundred million individuals who consist of what is called "floating...
