Automobile Theft
Automobile theft is a controversial depiction of violence and crime. Morales and Heitmann point out that car theft is not a past activity and offers an estimation of 721, 053 motor vehicles having been stolen in the recent two years. This statistic implies that 4.3 million dollars were lost in the hands of criminals. The fourth chapter of their book points out drugs as the main leading cause of car and motorcycle theft.
