A lawsuit term for an action, or cause instituted or depending between two private persons in the courts of law. Garner (2014), explains it as any proceeding between two parties against another in a court of law. The process starts when legal papers that are filed in court. These are known as pleadings. The attorney will explain pleadings to you in the particular context of your case. Lawsuits take many forms, but the basic stages remain constant. The pleadings explain each party's side of the dispute. Public safety is a priority and it has been improved. This is because the Constitution protects every citizen in a country.
As law enforcement officer, is I was being sued by a suspect, I’d try to find if there are any ways I can work out the case with the individual suing me.
