This paper is about the importance of economic shocks and their impacts on various factors on output, rate of interest, investments, real wages, and even work productivity. The Russia and Ukraine war can be identified as a significant shock to the economy. It is concluded that The war will lead to higher prices of oil that can develop within the market. It has also led to a limitation on oil supply even with the ever-increasing demand for oil products. The war has also altered oil consumption in varying degrees. In addition, inflation will be likely to rise further as people working within oil industries lose their jobs. The total effect of the shock will be noted as the war progresses with time.
