Non-probabilistic sampling techniques simply select their samples based on subjective judgment rather than random selection of the samples. This means that the research employs his or her expertise to select the samples therefore implying that subjects of the population do not have equal opportunity or probability to participate in the research. We may say that the dictionary definition of the term “assault” is the act of causing physical harm or unwanted contact of the body.
