Gang activity is perhaps the most destructive force in America. Community-oriented policing attempts to address some of the issues of gang life and how it impacts the quality of life in the community. For this week’s assignment locate a community-oriented policing program or a sub program within one that is attempting to deal with a gang problem. Analyze what has worked and what has not worked. Make suggestions as to what might be an improvement to the program.
