There is no doubt human beings have improved their lifestyle through advanced technology and development in general. However, there is one factor to consider when it comes to each individual and that is, we all share different values, attitudes, and beliefs. Our own attitudes, belief, and values develop throughout our lives and hence the life experiences, family, community, and friends do influence how we view the world and who we become. As an ECE professional, we are working with children who are vulnerable; need a stimulating, caring, and secure atmosphere in which they can grow intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Knowing the impact that an educator has to a child it should be an educator desire to create an environment that invites sharing of ideas, supports taking healthy risks and one, which is safe in all aspects. An educator should ensure the full potential of a child by meeting the above conditions. This paper is going to observe personal view on values and attitudes beliefs around roles of an educator for young children.
The importance society places on early childhood education today is huge, and it is difficult to convince people that 200 years ago the concept of early childhood education was non-existence (Lascarides & Hinitz, 2013). Back then, children were considered incapable of learning and hence education was only introduced to them in their preteen age. They were also largely left to their own devices during the early development age.
