Economic exclusion is an unequal distribution of resources by those in power and exclusion of workers from credit, labor and insurance markets. Some excluded group has no access to public services. The unequal process dwells on the capacity of various groups to cater for their interests and the target government policies. Economic exclusion plays a significant role in the reproduction of inequality in public services promoting illiteracy and unemployment. Low educational standards cause exclusion from the market labor which results from gender, ethnicity and religion.
Economic exclusion shows how discrimination is the a central obstacle to development amongst ethnic minorities. Poverty is as a result of multiple dimensions such as unemployment, health, and literacy, which varies depending on social and economic conditions of the state. The fight for poverty and economic exclusion is on the increase due to unequal distribution of resources. Globalization, weak democracy and unequal distribution of land to citizens contributes to poverty.
The economic state of the society is a measure of prosperity or depression of its citizens. Crime and the economy of a country are related because the poor people are likely to engage in criminal activities than the wealthy.
