The id is considered as the most instinctive and primitive part of the personality. It has also played an important part in my personality as well. The id is comprised of different biological and inborn element of the personality that exists during the sex and birth and Eros and Thanatos. It is considered as the unconscious or impulsive element of our psyche which reacts immediately and directly to the instincts. I was born and this is my id which belongs to my unconscious. The id is the incautious (and oblivious) a portion of our mind which reacts straightforwardly and promptly to the senses. The identity of the infant kid is all id and just later does it build up a self image and super-conscience. It is developed to mediate between real world and unrealistic or unconscious id. A person has to reshape its id through ego to survive in the real world.
