Student’s Name Professor Course Date General Predictive Causality Essay What causes economic disparity to vary? This question is important because inequalities in income and wealth affect the opportunities available and the welfare of society (Browman, 214). When the inequality gap widens, poor people will have limited access to health services, among other crucial needs, which will hinder the social cohesion and political stability of a nation. Policymakers should, therefore, create policies that address inequality to improve the stability of society. It will ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to fulfil their potential, regardless of their social class or background. I believe that access to better education can lead to a variance in economic disparity because the level of skills a person acquires depends on the quality of education they receive. Accessing quality education equips one with the expertise they require in the job market. In the long run, they will get employed and earn better incomes than those who have poor education because most jobs with better pay demand excellent skills that can only be accessed in quality educational facilities. A different school of thought may argue that education alone is not a determinant of economic inequality. Other factors contribute to disparities, for instance, the family or race a person comes from. Others may have an inheritance that sets them apart; therefore, they are more likely to accumulate wealth than someone without an inheritance.
