Psychology it a field of study or a science that entails study of the mind behavior. The main goal of psychology as a field of study it is to grasp knowledge to help the human being. Psychology deepens the understanding of ethics with the purpose of creating a positive impact to the whole community("Psychology: Science In Action", 2016).
My purpose in psychology, is to understand the biological processes related to the brain and also to understand the effects on emotions by the brain. The knowledge may help to solve conflicts among people and also helping people who have life challenges. The big idea is to act as a mentor to many people in the society, as I am in a position to understand the challenges affecting them as it all starts with the brain("Psychology: Science In Action", 2016).
The field , will help to counsel people accordingly and show them the right path to follow. For example, an individual may have family challenges and it is my role as a psychologist practitioner to help the person. It may be through motivating the person as I tend to understand the emotion he or she is having (subedi, 2012).
One of the goal is to understand. Having acquired the psychology knowledge of psychology, I am in a position to understand the behavior of an individual. The motive is to understand why the person is doing such a behavior. Through various relationships theories, as a psychologist I can relate the behavior to a character that may be so close to such kind of behavior (subedi, 2012).
Describe the behavior. My purpose as a psychologist practitioner is to describe a conduct and give the reasons why the individual is behaving in that manner. It will help to solve problems of which most people, due to lack of the psychology knowledge may make false deductions. With my involvement as a psychologist professional I will be in a position to counsel accordingly and also give various recommendations regarding the behavior (subedi, 2012).
Predict the occurrence of a certain behavior. Depending on the information I can get regarding the current behavior, I can predict occurrence of a behavior at a later date. I can use information about previous cases , and I observe the patterns and I get the relation to another activity that may happen in future. As a goal, it may help to predict the occurrence of various activities. For example, may predict the growth or a fall of a business depending on the information I have concerning the person running the business ("Finding Your Life's Purpose", 2016).
Prevent and control a certain behavior. My goal can be to control occurrence of a behavior may be through mentoring and counseling. It may be relevant to challenges like mental problems. There are those people who may be mentally due to the environment and also the conditions that they are exposed to. As a psychologist practitioner it is my purpose to prevent this challenge from occurring by gathering facts and inf
