Introduction
As an individual, I have an entertainer’s personality, life can never be boring around me. I am very spontaneous, I have positive energy and I am quite enthusiastic. Life can never be boring when I am around. My personality type is attributed to the fact that I am extroverted by nature, I am fun loving and outgoing person who likes outdoor activities.
Since my childhood, I have grown to like music and events that provides exposure, I don’t mind being in the limelight always. I am people-oriented, and I hate being alone, thus I seize every moment to be sociable with people. This trait makes me very likeable, and I easily find friends because I am approachable and welcoming. I enjoy action, new situations and a life full of adventures. I am quite practical in my activities and in the decisions that I make. I make choices with my heart (ESFP, 2015)
When it comes to conflicts, I tend to disassociate myself from unnecessary confrontations. I prefer a peaceful and fun environment with an audience that can listen to my stories and adventures. I tend to get easily hurt and due to that, I strongly care about the feelings of other people. I am flexible to situations and I don’t mind compromising. I like carefree activities that allow me to make mistakes and learn new stuff. I prefer my options being open.
My style in relationships
In my relationships, be it in friendship or romance, I love having fun and doing things with those that I love. I am quite warm and outgoing. I am open to my personal information and very expressive when telling people about myself. Whenever things get too serious, I like changing the mood by cracking a joke or telling a good story. I like keeping myself engaged from one activity to another from time to time. This way, I learn something new and fun all the time. I like a partner who invites me for hobbies like cooking, dance, gym sessions and yoga classes. I am also a huge fan of sports, particularly basketball. My favorite team is the Miami Heat, and I watch all the major basketball leagues. I do all the fun things with people so that I get hooked to new activities and have a place to put my enormous energy (ESFP, 2015).
I go to a large extent to make my partner happy and this makes me be extravagant and spendthrift at times. If I am sharing a home with someone, I would always want them to appreciate my generous and exuberant natures instead of complaining about why I spend so much. A negative response will kill my enthusiasm, and if I get negative energy from a partner, I will move on to someone who is easier to please. I like having a friend who encourages light discussions because it is very significant for me to have a harmonious environment. I avoid relationships with people who are overly critical. The problem with my entertainer personality is that I tend not to be serious in relationships or whenever a particular issue has to be solved.
My style at work
I am a hard worker who likes to see things get done. I work very well in a sociable environment. I dislike following rules and prefer working where there is freedom and flexibility. I always strive on doing my best, and I like seeing other succeed and do their best too. It is very fun working with me as I easily get along with others. I prefer doing jobs that match my personality type. I have interests in modelling, acting, fashion designing, etc.
What led to my personality?
I can attribute my personality trait to genetics and the environment that I grew in. My father has a very charismatic and outgoing persona, and he brought me up to exhibit an entertainer trait. He liked music and organizing fun events for us when we were children and since then, my love for parties has never stopped. I grew up to love listening and dancing to music, acting in plays and attending musical shows. Considering that I grew up California where art is a big employer for people, I found it very easy to develop my artistic ability in that environment.
