1.      Executive summary 

The network design plan focuses on understanding the project goals and its scope. It draws on extensive understanding of network designs and requirement gathering. Through the network design document, there is the need of understanding the process and focusing on the aim of project goals for the network. There is the identification of the network designs based on the logical appearance on the flow of the information and data within the system. There is the physical organization and design that supports the logical presentation of the physical organization of the system. Itapplies the network topology to determine the importance of communication while gaining a business perspective of applying the technical needs in understanding network technologies.                        

2.      Project goal 

The project goal is the seamless migration of the company’s retail data information and consumer operations in maintaining its business continuity. Migration into a new site is essential in developing different technological strategies such as developing a logical framework of reduction of any errors and challenges to the normal operations of the company’s retails services. Through migration into a new site that serves as the warehouse center for data, it is essential to define the project’s goals into developing and focusing on the role of using designs that meets the network capability and maintenance of the newly designed network interface. Apart from the seamless migration and ensuring there is a continuity after the migration, the project aims also to define the different network applications and its technologies.  The network deigns are essential in determining the effectiveness of developing security measures and providing a basis for business continuity in an organization. The project also aims to offer sufficient research on network architecture and infrastructure with a focus on sufficient management and information content support. Therefore, the project focuses on network design and all aspects related to the seamless migration of a primary data center from one location to another.

3.      Project scope 

The scope of the project is focusing on the general network designs with the implementation of an interface that could handle of over 100 clients. The network designs as the main focuses defines the different network requirements. These network requirements includes different aspects of the network infrastructure to use, apply and the standards to follow when designing a network system for commercial purposes. There is importance of understanding the purpose of network security mechanism and protocols. As part of the project, there is focus on upgrading the network. The proposal will also encompass a detailed information and specifications on upgrading the current network system. Determination of the core network applications could promote the overall understanding of how Fiction Company could help in running remote systems to support the performance of the remote call center with over 100 seats. The project will also encompass the knowledge of understanding the importance, necessity and importance of understanding network hardware and software systems. The network designs will propose the necessity of supporting and helping to promote the development of a seamless migration of data and network of the fiction company’s operations. 

4.      Design requirements 

Working on the close support with the Fiction Company’s employees, it is important to determine the different design requirements. The focus of the network development is unveiling the role of the network under development. To increase feasibility analysis of the proposed network system, the main focus is understanding the different requirements essential to functionality of the network. For instance, the main essential network requirements includes different instances such as working closely to evaluate the business goals of the network. There is also the technical goals and needs on how the system will be implemented on a given budget. More importantly, is defining the scalability and maintenance of the network based on the data stores and usability of the system. Finally, is in the projecting the network applications on how the network will be used and what it will support as a means of fulfilling its business goals.

4.1  Business goals 

The aim of the business organization is to offer remote services for consumers and monitor the different data warehouses of the company. Using the necessary network designs, the company’s main business need is to presents a remote call center that offers support with the capability of 100 call centers. The business objective of the company is to improve the role of the network support the company receives in terms of scalability and efficiency. There is also the focus on the establishment remote centers with a focus on the role of information technology and what it means as an aim for profitability. Improving consumer support and increasing the efficiency of the company to process big data is a potential solution towards improving the importance of a scalable network system. There is the continuity of business and operations through a seamless migration within the company’s budget of $500,000. The budget is an essential consideration in the whole scope of the project. It is vital and essential to consider developing a scalable scope that will meet the demand of the company and falls within its budget. The budget requirements is a critical business requirement for the company from the financial perspective. Demonstrating proper management for the project and developing a network design proposal, which meet the needs of the company is one major core consideration as a business goal.

4.2  Technical goals 

The project is a proposal focusing on developing technological solutions with a potential for offering various technological solutions. The technical needs increases different solutions to the governance of the network administration and how it fully integrates technical advantages. There is the focus of upgrading the system to an upgraded system that focuses on the benefits of a well-designed network topology system. This is to improve communication in terms of remote assistance with management of three remote warehouses. The technical need is to reduce the downtime of running and offering the necessary services from the previously used network. Therefore, the main need is to overcome the challenge of network lagging and downtime issues. There is the consideration of offering effective security measures with the aim of managing the necessary features of the system and developing positive measures such as using TCP/IP network security features and policies. There is also the technical need of ensuring the system has effective feedback communication system to improve supervision and accessing of network technology. The need feedback communication is for the reduction problematic communication issues from the system communication and ensuring there is considerable data flow within the network’s devices.
