Hate groups flourished during ages of economic anguish and societal doubt, and they draw larger numbers of advocates within societies that suffer from increased unemployment and the over-reliance of blue-collar jobs. The experiences with the neo-Nazi and Crips hate groups trailed this pattern when economic and social conditions developed into an increasing figure of neo-Nazi and crisp gangs and the number of supporters they fascinated.
The Neo-Nazi gang is founded and reliant on four pillars:
The leader structure, the neo-nazi, depends on a pyramidal authority structure where they led by a strong leader at the top, one who has the authority to resolve skirmishes and take unswerving action for the gang’s good.
Corporate syncretism, in which the state and the bosses of trade jointly manage the market to maximize profits and trade.
Militarism, in which the nation tends to follow the state of war to acquire law materials, service industrial expansion, and colonies by conquering them to enrich the state, and orders the populace with a call to guard the homeland against external and also internal enemies.
Political homogeneity, whereby dissent and opposition of the government policies are flagged down as treasonous.
The Neo-Nazi of America is usually referred to as the skinheads. They have a unique look and can be distinguished easily (Nazism.net 2014). Their look is easily noticeable, and a shaved head or at times very short hair; combat boots; a bomber jacket; jeans; thin suspenders; and tattoos referring to the Nazi-like emblems of Germany. The standard neo- Nazi gang varies in size from members fewer than ten to large groups of several dozen members. Although their look is vital to them, being a Skinhead is not defined by just the way one dress - it is an entirely different way of life. From the beginning, the Skinheads glorified and still glorify Adolf Hitler, and they dedicate themselves to fulfill his dream and vision of a world run by only white people (Holocaust-education.dk 2014).
The gang lifestyle and neo-Nazi outlook of the Skinheads give them the belief of belonging, power, and greatness over other gangs, often in existing in troubled environments and at a time when (Nazism.net 2014) they are struggling and trying to find their right place in this World. This also creates a feeling and atmosphere in which they perceive that violence is normal (Holocaust-education.dk 2014). Skinheads, in the United States, have demonstrated and exhibited their willingness to attack, rob or even kill anybody for their cause (Nazism.net 2014).. The Skinheads are responsible for as more than 45 murders associated with homosexuals, racial minorities or even other skinheads. Hateful crimes and racial discrimination follow wherever their gangs have surfaced (Holocaust-education.dk 2014).
Neo-Nazism certainly has to be observed in its ancient meaning, as a continuity of old Nazism. Consequently, one of the neo-Nazis’ most significant intentions is the re-establishment of Nazism as an agreeable federal doctrine. This, for example, is done by improving the myth that the Holocaust never secured place (Holocaust denial) (Nazism.net 2014). They have also carried over many of the figures that were practiced by the Nazis: the swastika, the Nazi testimonial (the out-stretched right arm), pictures of Hitler, and so on(Nazism.net 2014). The neo-Nazis’ common rival is no longer the Jews – but they still stand the hated society – but rather strangers and emigrants. Thus, the principal objective of neo-Nazism is to end emigration and thus defend the vestige of the state ‘race.' This results to mainstream diplomats often blamed of ‘treason’ for passing fair immigration laws (Nazism.net 2014).
Neo-Nazism is generally considered anti-intellectual, and it has no intelligible political doctrine (Nazism.net 2014). It is, however, mostly characterized by some defining elements which are two in number: extreme nationalism and xenophobia. An essential perspective of neo-Nazism is the great cultural component, the doctrine brings to its affiliates. Neo-Nazi organizations meet to party, play music as well as sing traditional and latest Nazi contest songs. They further, organize parades and movements, for example, on Hitler’s birthday.
The Crips are not usually organized as they are regarded as street gangs, however, they appear to have some sort of informal hierarchical structure as shown below
A leader that is usually imprisoned and runs the gang from the inside of jail through the telephone. He is the supreme chief and chairman of the board (Pbs.org 2014).
Advisors that offer advice on financial, political, and legal operations mostly regarded to as the ‘outside contacts.’
Suppliers of guns and guns who mostly in cooperate terrorist organization and drug lords.
Political organizations which consist of large groups of former gang member that got elected into the government (Pbs.org 2014).
