Information and communication technology (ICT) is very essential in the field of engineering. It has much importance in the engineering field, especially in electrical and electronics studies. The advancement of ICT has shifted engineering focus from paperwork to the computer-based system. In regard to electrical and electronics study, ICT has made the design of electrical and electronics circuits and diagrams easy and simple by using computer systems due to development of design software. ICT has also solved the huge engineering calculations enabling engineers to develop theories and calculations to solve human problems using developed software in the electrical and electronics engineering. Additionally, ICT has offered an easy platform for electronic engineering students owing to the difficulty of the course. ICT has impacted so much on the engineering education. Its implementation can be categorized into ICT components such as commercial software for simulation or computation such MATLAB for solving differential and linear equations, ICT course delivery which includes educational websites and video conferencing and ICT learning management process such as commercial LMS packages used to track the learning process of students. ICT tools are majorly applied in solving complicated mathematics, simulation, control of systems and modeling.
