Leadership is a critical aspect in every organization which aspires for growth as well as high profitability. Leaders act as pivotal change agents in their organizations in devising, initiating, developing and implementing workable strategies. In essence, leaders are responsible for identifying and supporting new strategies to cope with dynamic working strategies. Change is inevitable in the workplaces. It can be deemed true that changes in the existing norms can bring both negative and positive impacts. The management concept that leaders ought to have should, therefore, be the most critical and applicable countering strategy. Managing change in an organization requires good leadership skills, from decision making, creativity, and inventive skills to social life skills (Dawson and Andriopoulus, 2014).
To realize an effective leadership style into the management issues encountered from the changing perspectives of the workplace, there should be ideal practices which the leaders and managers should portray. The center of leadership style which is emphasized in this context is a transformational one (Ferguson, Hall and Hopwood, 2015, p.4). Transformational leadership is focused on initiating actual changes to the organization, groups, and individuals or even to oneself. The emphasis of transformational leadership is attaining commitment and satisfaction to the involved. First, having a clear context for the changes perceived is pertinent.
