COL. RUSSELL WILLIAMS Name Institution + City Class Course Details Date Submitted Col. Russell Williams Serial homicide is a series of at least killings sharing similar features such as it would imply the same person committed them. Serial murder is the unauthorized killing of at least two victims by same offender(s), in different events committed within one month. Sex related homicides comprise killings, serial killers and rape-murderers, which involve both oral and anal sodomy, and sexual distortions. Sex related homicides could be either heterogeneous or homogenous. This work looks at offender behavior in sexual homicides based on Col. Russell Williams' stories and series. Col. Russell Williams exhibited three categories of behaviors. The categories were mixed, organized and disorganized. Mixed imply both organized and disorganized manners. For instance, he went up from organized killings to disorganized killings as he built up more victims. Moreover, as an organized serial murderer, he did not scheme his evil deeds intelligently. Col. Russell Williams skillfully killed in one location and abandoned the body elsewhere. In addition, he involved in deranged acts due to his desire to assume power. Further, he totally manipulated the crime scene and dead bodies to hide his own track. Further, he evaded law enforcement officers. Col. The above bizarre acts were usually the norms. The serial killer committed these heinous acts since he was mentally disturbed, had mental diseases and a host of prompts for his repeat offences. Apart from that, Col. Russell Williams killed because of visionary reasons such as wanting to hear voices of their victims. In addition, he had mission –oriented reasons to justify his offenses including purging of the "undesired”. Further, he claimed some self-gratifying subsets of reasons including thrill, comfort and lust that pushed him to crime. Moreover, achieving dominance and greatness by brutalizing others power is another reason why Col.Russell Williams involved in serial killings. Williams began by peeping through windows, infringing into homes and pilfering lingerie, and taking photos of his victims fully clad in the lingerie. He then changed and became violent. The first prey was 20-years-old. Williams assaulted her sexually, took her baby blanket, bras, panties and bed sheet. He then broke into her home for the second time to steal her driver's license, pieces of lingerie and other belongings. The next victim, a 47-year-old fellow citizen, was bound and strained to remove her clothes and pose for pictures. He had former...
